AutoAnalyser - First Steps


 

 

Step 1

Start AutoAnalyser from the Commander Panel - one left mouse click. Wait until the module is completely loaded.

Step 2

Click 'File' - 'Historical Data' and specify your historical data path folder. The data read by AutoAnalyser need to be in ASCII text and in following layout: Ticker, Interval, Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Other.

 

If you followed the setup wizard when installing the software, this step is not necessary.

 

 

 

Step 3

Click on a ticker in the ticker window - left mouse click. Then click the button 'Go for one ...' to load and display the data.

 

 

 

 

Step 4

Click on the 'Misc' tab to set how much data periods you want to load (one year, 180 days etc.) and what time frame - daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5

Click on the menu 'System' and choose one of the setting panels ranging from 'Setting 1' to 'Setting 6' or higher. You may choose whatever indicator or line study you like.

 

 

 

 

Step 6

Set the desired indicator at your choice. Set more then one indicator and click 'Setting OK and apply' to chart instantly, or click 'Save Setting' to save the setup to a file.

 

 

 

 

Step 7

Use the window 'Maximize', 'Minimize' and 'Normal' buttons to size the window (upper right window).

 

Use the rubbers to resize the windows within the module.

 

Window size, location and windows within the module will be saved to the setting file.

 

To resize the windows within the module, move the mouse over the rubber bands until you see an arrow to resize. Click left and hold the left mouse button while you resize the window. When in the desired position, release the left mouse button.

 

Click the button 'Go for one ...' to redraw the chart to the new window sizes.

 

 

 

 

Step 8

To save the settings click the menu 'File'. Click 'Save' to save the settings to a specific file.

 

Click 'Exit this module'. The setting will be saved into the default setting file. This function only is on, if the 'Auto save setting' is checked on.

 

The setting will be reloaded on each startup of the module.

 

Using the system window close button (window upper right x) will close the module without saving the setting, regardless of the 'Auto save setting function' checked on or not.
